Every year Korea's pet industry gathers at KINTEX for MegaZoo, and every year we haul our harness wall, cots and surfboards into the hall. We have set up there in 2023, 2024 and again this May. This is what our booth looks like, and what happens to it once the doors open.
Building the booth
Setup day is unglamorous: strollers still in transit wrap, cushions stacked shoulder high, and a wall photo of a very smug white dog watching the whole thing. By opening, the floor holds the full camp scene: cots on the boards, the inflatable air fence pumped up, and the harness wall loaded end to end.
Then the dogs arrive
A fair aisle is a stress test with a pulse. Small dogs treat the air fence as a bounce room. Big dogs treat the cots as a strength exam. The pair below, a Great Dane and a Bernese, shared one cot for a while and the frame took it, which is the kind of demonstration no spec sheet can give you.

The air fence deserves its own note, because it puzzles people at first sight. There are no poles and no panels, only inflated fabric walls, which means nothing rigid to pinch a paw or scratch a floor, and the whole room packs into a bag. On a fair floor it doubles as a live durability demo: a full day of dogs bouncing off the walls is a better argument than anything we could print on the box. The most common question it gets, whether a determined dog can flatten it, gets answered by the walls themselves about once an hour.
If you ever visit
MegaZoo runs at KINTEX in Goyang, just northwest of Seoul, and it is worth a detour if your travels line up with an edition. Bring your dog; most visitors do, and the aisles are built for it. Our booth is usually findable by the surfboards, which stop enough foot traffic that we keep hauling them in. They are real boards from our dog surfing line, and the wall of harnesses next to them is organized by size rather than color, because that is how actual fitting questions arrive.
One habit we recommend to any visitor: bring the measurements of your dog's neck and chest. Booth staff at any brand can give you a real answer in seconds with numbers, and only a guess without them.
Why we keep coming back
Three fairs in, the pattern is consistent. Visitors do not ask the questions we expect. Nobody has ever asked about thread count; everyone asks whether a frame wobbles, whether a wall gives when leaned on, and whether the fabric survives claws. Those questions, repeated a few thousand times, have quietly rewritten how we build and how we describe products. The booth is where our listings get their honesty checked.
Quick questions
Can US customers buy the booth items? Most of them. The air fence, cots and harnesses in these photos are on the US store; a few Korea-only items are not.
Is the booth the full lineup? No. A booth holds what a truck holds, so we bring the outdoor core: fences, cots, strollers, harnesses and the surfboards.
When is the next MegaZoo? The fair usually runs several editions a year at KINTEX; we announce which ones we attend on our Instagram.
