Three people have asked us about this over the past few weeks. One was planning a 3 Sets pen for five dogs and wanted to know what there would be to haul. One opened a 3 Sets box, found two bundles, and wrote to ask where the third was. One is buying 2 Sets to take home on a flight and needed the pack size first.
Nothing was missing from that box. This is how each size is packed.
What is in the box
Every order ships from Seoul in one box. Inside it:
- 1 Set: one bundle, one carry bag, 6 panels
- 1.5 Sets: one bundle, one carry bag, 9 panels
- 2 Sets: two 1-Set bundles, two carry bags, 12 panels
- 3 Sets: two 1.5-Set bundles, two carry bags, 18 panels
So the number of bags does not always match the number of sets. 3 Sets is the one that catches people out: you order three and two bags arrive. Each of those bags holds a 1.5 Set.
Count the panels
If you want to check an order, ignore the bags and count panels. A 1 Set is 6 panels, so 1.5 Sets is 9, 2 Sets is 12 and 3 Sets is 18. The walls fold out into three panels each and fold flat again, so counting them on the grass takes a minute.
Each bundle also carries its own poles and ground stakes, a pole pouch and an accessory pouch, and all of it goes into the carry bag. Because a 2 Sets order is two complete 1-Set bundles, you can zip them into one pen or put them up as two.
In fence line, the page lists a 1 Set at about 29.5 ft, 1.5 Sets at about 44.3 ft, 2 Sets at about 59 ft and 3 Sets at about 88.6 ft. If you are still choosing a size, we have a separate piece on how many feet you need.
What it weighs
The product page lists a 1 Set at about 11 lb and 1.5 Sets at about 14.3 lb. The larger orders are those same bundles doubled: about 22 lb across two bags for 2 Sets, and about 28.6 lb across two bags for 3 Sets.
The box and packing add a little on top. One recent 3 Sets parcel read 13.74 kg on the carrier's scale, which is 30.3 lb with the box.
The page figures are rounded. If you are planning around a strict limit, leave yourself a pound or two of margin per bag.
Carrying it yourself
Each bundle folds into a bag of about 35.4 x 7.9 x 5.1 in with a shoulder strap. A 1 Set or 1.5 Sets order is one bag over one shoulder. With 2 or 3 Sets you have two bags, so it is two trips from the car, or one bag each for two people.
If you are flying with it, the long side is the number to check: about 35.4 in. Airlines set their own size and weight limits for checked bags, so look yours up before you pack. We cannot tell you what a given airline will accept.
Which fence this is

Questions we get
I ordered 3 Sets and got two bundles. Is one missing? No. 3 Sets ships as two 1.5-Set bundles. Count the panels and you should have 18.
Can I add a set later and zip it to the one I have? Yes. The panels zip to each other, so sets bought at different times join into one pen.
Why does 2 Sets cost more to ship than 1 Set? Shipping is charged by weight, and two bundles weigh twice as much as one. We wrote up how that number is worked out: Why is shipping so much?
