Wipe soiled spots with a damp cloth. Do not soak or scrub-wash (protects the gel). Keep it away from sharp objects, direct sun and hard folding — and don’t leave heavy objects sitting on it. Sustained weight pushes the gel out of shape.
Cooling naturally eases after prolonged use — chill it again to restore. The core is CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose), a plant-derived cellulose gel. It is not food — keep your dog from chewing the mat, and stop using it if the mat is damaged.
