For a week in December 2024 our winter line, puffers and fleeces, hung in a brick-walled shop in Hannam, one of Seoul's more particular neighborhoods, as part of the Petmily Market. City retail asks different questions than a campsite, and we wanted the answers.
The room
The venue was a converted brick storefront shared by a handful of pet brands for the market week: warm string lights, timber racks, and a dog mannequin crew modeling the stock. Our section held the Contour puffers, the fleeces, and a basket of bandanas that emptied faster than anything with a zipper.
What city buyers checked first
Campground customers judge apparel by weather; city customers judge it by daily life. The recurring inspection at the racks went: cuffs first, then the belly line, then how the leg openings sit when a dog actually walks. December in Seoul means salted sidewalks and short cold walks, so the questions were about coverage where slush hits and speed of getting the thing on a dog that will not stand still in a hallway.
That is the same logic behind the all-in-one cut of our puffer suit: legs and body in one piece, one zipper line, no separate boots to lose. Outdoor gear thinking applied to a city problem, which, we learned that week, is most of what a Seoul winter is.

What did not sell, and why that was useful
Honesty about the other side of the racks: the heaviest expedition-weight pieces barely moved. Hannam apartments are warm, cars are close, and walks are short, so most buyers wanted the middle of the range, warm enough for thirty minutes outside and easy to store the other twenty three hours. That one observation reshaped how we think about the US line too, since many of our American customers live closer to that pattern than to a mountain trailhead. Range planning by watching hands at a rack is crude, and it works.
Why a market week is worth it
A shared pop-up puts your gear one rack away from other brands, and shoppers compare in silence with their hands. You learn where your stitching reads as sturdy or as stiff, which colors survive warm lighting, and which size ranges people actually flip through. A week of that is a design review no meeting can produce, and it costs a folding table and some honesty.
It also closed a loop for us. We started in campgrounds, spent 2023 building fair booths, reached a department store floor in 2026, and this market week in between was the first time the apparel line stood entirely on its own, no tents, no cots, no turf. It held the room.

Does the winter line ship to the US? The Contour puffer suit does; some pop-up colorways were Korea only. The listing shows current colors and the size chart.
What sizes were most asked for? Small-to-medium city dogs dominated that neighborhood, but the suit line runs into large sizes; measure back length and chest rather than guessing by breed.
